برنامه ماه جون انجمن مدافع دمکراسی در ایران-لس‌آنجلس - کالیفرنیا

Abstract:
A century after the Constitutional Revolution in Iran, a main question has occupied the mind of many Iranian thinkers, scholars, and political activists: Why democracy has not been institutionalized in Iran? In the past 15 years this question has been subject of many discussions among Iranians. Obviously, it does not have a simple answer as many of us expected.
This talk will open discussion and address some issues and questions related to this complicated problem. The main goal is to show the high degree of complexity of the process of democracy, rather than to come to a simplistic conclusion and pave the way for further analysis and discussion.
